Our Wines
Luiano is an ancient fort, whose origins lie in the late middle ages and land spans 40 hectares in the northern region of the Chianti Classico. On its fertile soil, rich with natural resources, throughout the last centuries a great tradition of vine growing was founded.
Today Luiano is a farm entirely dedicated to the growth of grapes and winemaking. The Palombo Family, who has been running the winery for the past three generations, has recently renovated Luiano's vineyards and structures in an effort to achieve excellence within today's modern wine world. |
Prieuré Saint Jean de Bébian is one of the oldest estates in the Languedoc and now a benchmark amongst French wines. It covers 32 hectares round Pézenas which was officially designated an appellation on 29 April 2007. The terroir was thus classified as “grand cru”, the top of the new three-level ranking of Languedoc AOC wines.
Bébian land was planted with vines as early as the Roman times. The history of Bébian has been closely tied up for centuries with Pézenas, a town of art, culture and wine. Bébian’s fame began in the 1970s when the estate underwent a radical overhaul. The old Mediterranean stock (cinsault, carignan) was jealously conserved and was joined by the “noble” varieties of syrah, grenache, mourvèdre and the other traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape varieties of roussanne, marsanne, clairette, counoise, bourboulenc and grenache gris. |

Acienda Agricola Le Chiuse Located in North of Montalcino, the Le Chiuse estate lies on the north-east hillside of Montosoli, at about 300 meters elevation with all-day sun
exposure and includes a total of 7ha of vineyards all planted to Sangiovese Grosso, designated as follows: 6ha of Brunello (and Riserva), and 1ha, Rosso di Montalcino, at low yields of 40 quintals per ha. Le Chiuse played a key role in the vineyard holdings of the legendary Biondi-Santi family since the late 18th Century when they used these vineyards for their Riserva bottling. Handed down, generation to generation the current owner, Simonetta Valiani is the great granddaughter of Ferruccio Biondi-Santi. Simonetta regained full ownership of the property in 1993 when she decided to produce her own wine under the label “Brunello Le Chiuse” with her husband, Nicolò Magnelli and their son, Lorenzo. |
